FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What’s the weather like in Florida in January-February?
Florida in January-February offers a refreshing break from winter elsewhere, with mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine. Sure, there might be a bit of rain or wind here and there, but most days are great for hanging out outside or kicking back indoors. We recommend packing layers and checking the forecast closer to your travel date for maximum comfort.
What if I'm a high handicapper or relatively new golfer?
We welcome golfers at all levels who have played for at least a year. In fact, newer golfers often see the most dramatic improvements since they haven't yet ingrained years of bad habits. The 2:1 student-to-coach ratio ensures you'll receive appropriate attention regardless of your starting point.
How easy is it to get to Boca Raton?
Boca Raton is conveniently located near several major airports, including Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International and Palm Beach International. With multiple flight options and ground transportation available, getting here is easier than you might expect. We’ll also share travel tips and shuttle details to make things smoother and less stressful.
Are flights and accommodations included?
Flights and hotel accommodations are not included in your package. To make planning easier, we’ll provide you with a list of recommended hotels nearby, along with trusted car service options to get you to and from the course with ease.
How is this golf school different?
Two words: personal attention. While other schools cram 20-30 players into generic group lessons, this exclusive collaboration creates an intimate setting with just 8 golfers per session. You'll experience direct coaching from Eric Cogorno (Golf Digest Top 50 Instructor & Best in State) working alongside Don Law Golf Academy's elite coaching team — where golf's brightest minds focus on finding and fixing your ONE root flaw instead of giving you tips that don't stick.
What's the rain plan?
We're prepared to work through light rain if you are… golf is an outdoor sport after all! The school continues as long as conditions are safe and most participants want to keep going. If severe weather (lightning, heavy storms) makes training unsafe or ineffective, our weather guarantee kicks in: you'll get full credit toward a future session, the option to reschedule affected portions, or a complete makeup day if needed.
Who is this golf school for?
This experience is designed for golfers of all skill levels who are serious about improvement. Whether you're shooting in the 90s or looking to break 80, Eric and his team will customize the instruction to address your specific needs and goals.
What equipment should I bring?
Bring your complete set of clubs, comfortable golf attire for two days, golf shoes, a glove, sunscreen, and any personal items you typically use on the course. We'll provide all training aids, range balls, and course materials.
Will you recommend equipment changes?
While our primary focus is improving your technique and strategy, we may suggest equipment modifications if we identify clear mismatches between your current clubs and your physical capabilities or swing tendencies. Any recommendations will be based on improving performance, not selling products.
What happens after the school ends?
Your progress doesn’t stop when the two days are over. You’ll get lifetime access to Eric Cogorno’s Masterclass Library — 300+ lessons covering everything from full swing practice plans to specialty fixes like hybrids, fairway woods, slice correction and so much more.
Plus, your registration includes a 90-day membership on CogornoGolf.com, giving you 24/7 access to Eric and his certified coaching team for feedback, guidance, and ongoing support as you put your new swing into play.
What’s included in the event package?
Everything you need for your transformation: complete access to all programming with Eric and the coaching team, lunch and refreshments both days, lifetime access to Eric's Master Class Library, 90-day post-school coaching support, and our weather guarantee (full makeup day if needed). We handle the details so you can focus entirely on your golf breakthrough.
What's your cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit is non-refundable but can be applied toward a future school if you give us at least 30 days’ notice. If you need to cancel within 30 days of the event, the full tuition is forfeited unless we’re able to fill your spot. Please note: once the school has begun, no refunds are offered under any circumstances.
How physically demanding is the school?
The program is designed to accommodate various fitness levels. We incorporate appropriate breaks and will tailor physical instruction to your capabilities. That said, you will be on your feet for most of two full days, so comfortable golf attire and proper footwear are essential.
Do you offer financing options?
At this time, we require full payments, but we're pleased to accept credit cards for your convenience. If you need assistance with other payment options, please feel free to contact us via email, and we'll be happy to explore any available alternatives with you.
What if I have physical limitations or injuries?
Our expert coaches work with golfers of all physical abilities. Simply let us know about any limitations or injuries in the pre-event questionnaire we'll send after registration, and we'll customize your instruction to ensure you get maximum improvement within your capabilities.
How is this different from private lessons with my local pro?
This immersive experience goes far beyond typical lessons by addressing every aspect of your game in a structured progression. You'll benefit from multiple expert perspectives, on-course application, and a comprehensive improvement system rather than isolated swing tips.
